Marcel Lasée

Marcel Lasée (born January 10, 1982 in Düsseldorf ) is a German racing driver .

Career

Lasée began his career in karting, where he was active until 1998. He then switched to Formula Ford 1800 Germany in 1999 , where he finished eighteenth. He then switched to the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup in 2000, in which he finished eighth in his debut season. In 2001 he stayed loyal to the series and finished eleventh. At the same time, he competed in the Formula Renault 2.0 Germany season in which he was champion. In 2002 he switched to German Formula 3 and finished 17th. In addition, he did test drives for the Jordan Grand Prix team in Formula 1. In 2003 he drove in the newly created Formula 3 Euro Series and was 23rd and also drove the season in the German Formula 3 Cup and was 16th. At the end of the season he took part in the Formula 3 Masters and was 28th. In 2004 he switched to touring car racing and drove in the German Seat Leon Supercopa, finishing fourth. In the years that followed, he remained loyal to the series, finishing sixth in 2005 and 16th in 2006. In 2012 he contested selected races in the ADAC GT Masters.
