Formula 3 Masters
The Formula 3 Masters (also known as Masters of Formula 3 ) is an international Formula 3 race that has been held annually since 1991. The Formula 3 Masters took place from 1991 to 2006 and since 2009 at Circuit Park Zandvoort and in 2007 and 2008 at Circuit Zolder .
After the end of the European Formula 3 Cup after the 1990 season, the Formula 3 Masters took the position of an unofficial Formula 3 European Championship. The Formula 3 Masters did not lose this position when the FIA awarded the Grand Prix de Pau as the European Formula 3 Cup between 1999 and 2004 .
Racing drivers from various European Formula 3 championships compete in the Formula 3 Masters. Valtteri Bottas and Felix Rosenqvist are the only racing drivers who have won the Formula 3 Masters several times (2009, 2010 and 2011, 2013 respectively).
In 2011 the Formula 3 Masters was a run for the FIA Formula 3 Trophy , an international Formula 3 competition that was only advertised for one season.
