Marcel M. Baumann

Marcel M. Baumann (* 1975 ) is a German political scientist .

Life

Baumann studied political science , psychology and history at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg from 1997 to 2000 and in 2000/01 at the Magee College of the University of Ulster (Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies). After that he was u. a. Visiting Research Associate at the Rotary Center for International Peace at the University of California, Berkeley . In 2006/07 he was a research associate at the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute and subsequently a research associate or assistant at the Chair of International Politics. In 2008 he was at Herfried Münkler at the Philosophical Faculty III of the Humboldt University of Berlin to Dr. phil. PhD. In 2014/15 he represented the Freiburg Chair for International Politics. His main research interests were ethics , conflict research , India and Southeast Asia .

Since 2018 he has been working as a research assistant and office manager for Armin Schuster, member of the Bundestag .
