Marcella Deen (born June 19, 1988 in Heemskerk , Netherlands ) is a former Dutch handball player .
Career
Deen started playing handball at the DSS Heemskerk when he was five years old. At the age of 13, the circle player switched to VOC Amsterdam, where she was used for the first time in the top Dutch league at the age of 15. After several national successes, she joined the German Bundesliga club VfL Sindelfingen in 2010 . Deen was without a club after Sindelfingen went bankrupt in the summer of 2011. In December 2011 she was signed by the second division club SG Handball Rosengarten . For the 2012/13 season Deen moved to Buxtehuder SV . In 2015 she won the DHB Cup with the BSV . Then she ended her career.
Deen made her first international match for the Dutch national team at the age of 16 . By November 2014, she had played a total of 43 games for the Netherlands, in which she scored 41 goals. Deen took part in the 2010 European Championship with the Dutch selection .
