Marcelle Cecilia Bouele Bondo (born January 7, 1993 ) is a Congolese athlete who competes in the sprint .

Athletic career

Marcelle Bouele Bondo gained her first international experience in 2014 at the African Championships in Morocco , where she took eleventh place in the long jump with 5.64 m. The following year she took part in the Africa Games in Brazzaville for the first time and made it over 100 and 200 meters to the semi-finals, in which she was eliminated with 11.86 s and 24.07 s. At the 2016 African Championships in Durban , she made it to the semi-finals in both competitions, where she was eliminated with 11.92 s and 23.99 s. Thanks to a wildcard, she was allowed to take part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the 100-meter run and was eliminated there with 12.18 seconds in the lead . In 2017 she was eliminated from the Francophonie Games in Abidjan with 12.13 s and 24.92 s in the first round and finished fourth with the relay in 46.29 s. She also took part in the World Championships in London over 100 meters and was eliminated there with 12.15 s in the first round . The following year she took part in the 400-meter run at the African Championships in Asaba and was eliminated there with 54.77 s in the semifinals. In 2019 she took part again in the Africa Games in Rabat and was eliminated there with 54.65 s in the semi-finals.
