Marcelo Rodríguez , full name Marcelo Fabián Rodríguez Scarfo , (born September 19, 1987 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.82 meter tall defensive player Rodríguez was at the beginning of his career from the Apertura 2009 to the beginning of July 2013 in the squad of the Montevidean club Central Español . In the seasons 2009/10, 2010/11 and 2012/13 he was used there in 23 (one goal), 28 (no goal) and 24 (no goal) games of the Primera División . For the 2013/14 season he joined the Uruguayan first division club Juventud . At the club from Las Piedras he ran 14 times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. After the Clausura 2014 he left the club with an unknown goal. Since August 2014 he has been listed as a player for Club Atlético Basáñez . From there he moved to Boston River in late July 2015 . In the second division, he contributed with 14 missions (no goal) in the Segunda División to promotion at the end of the season.
