Marchena (English also Bindloe Island ) is one of the Galapagos Islands . It was named after Fray Antonio Marchena and has an area of 130 km². The highest point on the island is about 343 meters above sea level.
There are seldom tourists on the island. Most visitors can only see the island from a distance if they sail to Genovesa Island , which is the closest to Marchena. It is located about 75 kilometers away.
Like most of the Galapagos Islands, Marchena has a crater that is approximately 6 km long and 7 km wide.
