Marcin Piekarski (born September 21, 1983 in Gorzów Wielkopolski ) is a Polish luge athlete .

Marcin Piekarski is a mechanic by profession and lives in Nowiny Wielkie . He has been sledding since 1997 and has been part of the Polish national team since 1998. From the 2000/01 season onwards , he competed in the Luge World Cup with Łuczek Kruczek as headman of a two-seater , and since 2003/04 with Krzysztof Lipiński . He achieved his greatest successes with Lipiński, including twelfth place in Lake Placid as the best individual result in 2003/04 and 16th in the overall World Cup in 2002/03 and 2003/04. She finished the Luge World Championships 2005 in Park City as 19th in the doubles and as ninth with the Polish team in the team competition. At the European Championships 2006 in Winterberg they were again 19th in doubles and 18th with the team at the subsequent 2006 Olympic Games of Turin , the duo achieved his best result at a major event, the 17th Place. From the 2006/07 season he forms a toboggan double with his brother Grzegorz Piekarski . They achieved their best results in their first season in Königssee with 19th place. At the 2007 Luge World Championships in Igls , they finished 22nd with the doubles and tenth with the team.
