Marco Caliaro

Marco Caliaro (born April 29, 1919 in Crespadoro , † May 29, 2005 ) was an Italian bishop.

Caliaro was ordained a priest for the Society of Missionaries of St. Charles Borromeo on July 23, 1944 . Pope John XXIII appointed him on July 23, 1962 auxiliary bishop in Sabina e Poggio Mirteto and titular bishop of Tamiathis . Giuseppe Ferretto , Cardinal Bishop of Tortona , donated him to the episcopal ordination on March 19, 1962. Co- consecrators were Carlo Zinato , Bishop of Vicenza , and Francesco Carpino , Official of the Congregation for Bishops . Four days later, Pope John XXIII appointed first diocesan bishop of Sabina e Poggio Mirteto. Previously, the Cardinal Bishop of Sabina e Poggio Mirtetodie was episcopal. He attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council . On September 30, 1986, his diocese was renamed Sabina-Poggio Mirteto. On January 9, 1988, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation.
