Marco Finetti
Marco Finetti (born April 10, 1965 ) is a German journalist and press officer .
Finetti studied modern and middle history, political science and journalism at the University of Münster . After internships at the Zeit , the WDR and the Westdeutsche Allgemeine (WAZ), among others , he became senior editor at the German University Newspaper (DUZ) in 1997 . Between 1999 and 2001 he was a freelance writer for Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung , WDR and Deutschlandfunk, among others . Between 2001 and 2007 he was editor of the North Rhine-Westphalia edition of the Süddeutsche Zeitung, where he was a correspondent for education and science policy. In 2007 he moved to the German Research Foundation (DFG), where he was among other things editor-in-chief of the DFG journals. Since September 2011 he has been head of press and public relations and press spokesman for the DFG.
