Marco Frapporti (born March 30, 1985 in Gavardo ) is an Italian racing cyclist .

Athletic career

After Frapporti won the one-day race Piccolo Giro di Lombardia in 2007 , he received his first contract with an international cycling team at CSF Group-Navigare in 2008 . In the following years he won sections in the stage races Giro della Provincia di Grosseto , Tour of Britain , Brixia Tour and Route du Sud .

Miscellaneous

In the course of the doping investigation by the Public Prosecutor of Padua , he was suspected of having been a customer of the controversial sports medicine specialist Michele Ferrari .

Marco Frapporti is an older brother of the cyclist Simona Frapporti .
