Marcos Soares Tatagiba
Marcos Soares Tatagiba (born March 9, 1963 in Vitória , Brazil ) is a Brazilian medical doctor and university professor.
Life
Marcos Tatagiba came to Germany after completing his medical degree in Rio de Janeiro . Since 1987 he worked in the neurosurgical clinic in Hanover with Madjid Samii .
He completed his habilitation in 1995 after a research stay in Zurich at the Hannover Medical School (MHH).
- 1998 to 2002 senior physician at the MHH
- Since 2000 senior physician at both the MHH and the newly founded International Neuroscience Institute (INI), Hanover .
- Since October 2002 Deputy Director of the Neurosurgical University Clinic Freiburg i. Br. (Director Josef Zentner)
- Since September 2003 Medical Director of the Neurosurgical University Clinic Tübingen
- Since 2001 visiting professor at the Affiliated Jiangyin Hospital of the Southeast University School of Medicine in China
- 2003 visiting professor at Wayne State University in Detroit / Illinois
In 2006 Tatagiba and the project manager Duffner accepted the innovation award from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research for the "Neuro-Comrade" project.
