Marcus Adam

Marcus Adam (born February 28, 1968 in London ) is a former British sprinter . After his athletics career , he was active as a bobsleigh athlete .

In 1990 he won the 1990 Commonwealth Games for England starting over 200 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay ; over 100 m he was fourth. At the European Athletics Championships in Split , he reached the semi-finals over 200 m and won silver with the British 4 x 100 meter relay.

At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he was eliminated in the quarter-finals over 100 m, was eighth over 200 m and came fourth in the British 4 x 100 meter relay.

In 1989 he was English champion over 200 m outdoors, 1990 and 1999 indoors. He won the British Championship in 1989 over 100 m and in 1989 and 1992 over 200 m.

At the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, he finished tenth in the two-man bobsleigh.
