Marcus G. Lindner (born March 18, 1961 in Feldkirch ) is an Austrian chef .

Career

Lindner graduated from the "State Vocational School for the Hospitality Industry" in Lochau . After three years at the "Hotel Post" in Lech , he went to Switzerland and first worked for five years at the Grand Hotel "Victoria-Jungfrau" in Interlaken and then for three years at the "Parkhotel" in Gstaad . In May 2004 he moved to the Interalpen Hotel Tyrol in Tyrol .

From 2006 to 2012 Lindner was head chef at "Mesa" in Zurich , where he was awarded two stars in the 2012 Michelin Guide . Since the end of 2012 he has been head chef in the Sommet restaurant at "The Alpina Gstaad" in Gstaad .

Lindner has a son. He owns a small vineyard.
