Marcus Guttmann (born July 9, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian national volleyball player .

Guttmann first tried basketball before he ended up playing volleyball in 2002. With the hotVolleys , the tall outside attacker, who cracked the two-meter mark at the age of 15, won numerous championship titles in the youth field. In the 2007/08 season Guttmann made his debut in the hotVolleys fighting team, which won the Austrian championship title in the same season. In 2008 the Viennese went to Amstetten to SG VCA Hypo Niederösterreich , with whom he won the 2011 cup. With the national team, Guttmann took part in the 2011 home European championship in Austria and the Czech Republic and was eliminated after three rounds in the preliminary round. In 2012 Guttmann switched to the "Serie A1 Volleyball", the prestigious first Italian league, to VC Altotevere San Giustino .
