Marcus Mierendorff

Marcus Mierendorff (born September 29, 1964 in Berlin ) is a German CDU politician .

Mierendorff attended a high school in Berlin-Zehlendorf , the technical college for economics and administration and the technical college for economics and then worked as a businessman in the housing industry. He is a member of the Steglitz House and Landowners Association and Greenpeace .

In 1982 Mierendorff joined the CDU, where he took over the post of deputy state chairman of the Junge Union from 1993 to 1995 ; he was also deputy chairman of the Zehlendorfer district association and from 1997 local chairman of the CDU in Dahlem . In 1999 he moved into the Berlin House of Representatives via the district list , to which he belonged until 2001. In September 2001 he was replaced in a vote by Karl-Georg Wellmann in the office of Dahlem CDU chairman.
