Marcus Rudolph

Marcus Rudolph (born December 5, 1966 in Minden ) is a German radio presenter and actor .

biography

Even in his youth, Marcus Rudolph moderated for the student radio "Torf" of the Lilienthal high school . He then moderated the youth radio of Radio Bremen and worked as an announcer. After that he switched to Hessischer Rundfunk and moderated programs there on hr3 such as the program “0138-6000-Show”. He has won several radio prizes: three times the New York Radio Award for Best Humor Personality and the Expo Radio Award for "Best Moderator". He is also a popular party moderator at hr3-club disco partys .

After eight years he returned to Radio Bremen and replaced the presenter Axel P. Sommerfeld as The Fat One in the " Bremen Four Morning Show: The Fat One and the Thin One". Alternating with the radio presenter Jens-Uwe Krause and together with the "service fairies" Malin Kompa and Ike Pauli , he presented the morning broadcast every weekday from 6 am to 10 am and then the Bremen Four Mornings Show review , a successful podcast . At the end of 2008, Rudolph left Bremen Vier and after a break of around three months took over the moderation of the Bremen Eins program . In addition, he continued to host the 0138-6000 show on several Saturdays a year together with Peter Lack until August 31, 2013 for hr3.

stage

During his school days, Marcus Rudolph discovered his passion for the stage when he was staging school cabaret with a friend. He played in the Komödie Kassel and has been part of the ensemble of the Bremen Theater Ship since his return to Bremen . Since 2019 he has also been working as an author for the theater. His first piece, “Wetten, dass ...” premiered in November 2019 on the Theaterschiff Bremen.
