Peter Lack is a German radio presenter ( Hessischer Rundfunk ), musician and disc jockey (DJ). Lack grew up in Limburg an der Lahn and has the artist name Lackenegger .

Life

Lack, according to his own statements, studied at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and the University of London .

Act

In the course of his career he worked his way up from the assistant to the moderators Thomas Koschwitz , Olaf Pessler and Heinz Günter Heygen from the 0138-6000 program on hr3 to the head of the show after Koschwitz, Pessler and Heygen left the show in 1993. First he moderated 0138-6000 together with Lars Cohrs , who left at the end of the 1990s and was replaced by Marcus Rudolph from Radio Bremen . After the show was taken over by Lack and Cohrs, 0138-6000 became a mixture of a “personality show” with presenters who fought over the whole show and did not stop in front of their listeners. The latter can speak up by phone (the name of the program was also the phone number of the studio phone) and, in addition to teasing, also win prizes such as trips or cars. In the course of the show, Lack developed his alter ego "Lackenegger", who was supposed to be the brother of the actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger . In September 2013 0138-6000 was replaced by the show Dein Saturday afternoon .

On November 28, 1989, Lack started the series "Schnack mit Lack", which includes daily tabloid news from the world of the rich and beautiful. The series is now the longest radio series in the history of ARD .

In the summer of 2001, Lack was appointed comedy director at hr3 . In 2004 and 2005 he helped the hr3 comedy series Der kleine Nils to unexpected CD successes. All three albums of the Telefonschreck reach high positions in the German album charts .

Musician

Before joining 0138-6000 , Peter Lack worked in the music business. He was seen and heard in various bands in the early 1980s , including Die Radierer , Korpus Kristi and the school sport founded in 1983 . Stylistically, these bands all went in the direction of punk and Neue Deutsche Welle , in some music dictionaries both Korpus Kristi and the erasers appear in the Underground NDW category , while the erasers are often referred to as Limburg's first punk band.

In 1986 he had phenomenal success with a representative of a completely different genre: Peter Lack's Love Spy , sung by Mike Mareen , who was born in Lüneburg , sold 6.5 million copies worldwide. In 2004 this was re-released in a reloaded version, but could not build on old successes. The song interpreter was again in 2004 Mike Mareen. Lack himself had nothing to do with this version, but appeared as a co-composer in the credits, as with the original. In 2000 he published together with his co-host Marcus Rudolph under the pseudonym MTH Tanzfloormeister feat. Lackenegger & Ruudi the single couple party! whose success, however, fell short of expectations.

In addition, Peter Lack works as a DJ: all year round, he spins at disco parties in and around Hesse every weekend, and he published CD compilations with the title Clubtraxx or Club Classics at irregular intervals as part of his 0138-6000 program . The last CD so far was released in 2002.
