Marcus Smaller (* before 2000 in Vienna , actually Markus Pöttschacher ) is an Austrian musician and songwriter .

Life

Smaller has been the band leader of the punk rock band 3 Feet Smaller since 2000 , with whom he played over 700 concerts in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. In 2006 he released his first solo album, the acoustic record Into the Unknown , under the project name Alone & Acoustic. Then two solo albums appeared under Marcus Smaller's own name. His album Finally Home , released in 2014, topped the iTunes charts.

His repertoire ranges from pop to rock to punk . He has been under contract with Sony Music since 2016 .

At the end of 2016, he announced on his Facebook page that he would try his hand at comedian under his real name Markus Pöttschacher in 2017. [outdated]

The ex-singer of 3 Feet Smaller celebrates a comeback in 2018 with Koma (the former singer of the 2009 different Julia) and Stefan "Stoffl" Eckhard (singer of From Dawn To Fall until 2015) with the new band Last Band Standing.

Ten years ago 3 Feet Smaller, Julia and From Dawn To Fall were already on tour together and the motto from back then, Last Band Standing, is a much better band name today than the idea of ​​punk rock A3 that was initially thrown in.
