Marcus Welke
Marcus Welke (* 1967 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German film producer .
Life
Welke was born in Freiburg im Breisgau and initially studied political and social sciences before completing the production / creative producing course at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . During his studies, Welke worked as a lecturer for various production companies and trained as a script consultant. From 1999 to 2001 he was Head of Development at Trebitsch Production and as a producer at Kinowelt and Hager Moss Film. In 2003, together with producer Henning Ferber , he founded the Berlin- based production company Film1 , whose first project was Lars Kraume's No Songs About Love (2005).
