Marek Kulesza

Marek Kulesza (born October 5, 1959 in Warsaw ) is a former Polish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Kulesza, who started cycling in 1976, won the Polish championship from 1978 to 1980 and 1982 in the team pursuit on the track with Lechosław Michalak , Zbiegniew Szczepkowski and Stefan Janowski, among others . In the single pursuit and in the individual time trial on the road , he won other medals in national championships. He was a participant in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow , where he started in the team pursuit . In 1979 he started at the UCI track world championships in the points race and in the team pursuit.

He was also successful on the road, winning the prologue of the Tour of Poland in 1982 and a stage of the Olympia's Tour door Nederland in 1984 . He ended his career in 1983.
