Marek Panas (born November 7, 1951 in Elbląg , Poland ) is a former Polish handball player and handball coach .

In March 1982 Panas came to THW Kiel . There Panas, who shortly before won the bronze medal at the 1982 World Cup in Germany with the Polish national team , played on the center backcourt . In the following years he made the previously mediocre THW again a top team in German handball. In 1987 he also took over the position of coach and was active as a player-coach for two years.

Panas is married and has a son and a daughter. He lives in the town of Szteklin near Gdansk . There he runs a homestead.
