Maren Elbrechtz

Maren Elbrechtz (born June 1, 1976 in Mülheim an der Ruhr ) is a German film director and producer and writer .

Life

Elbrechtz attended the community elementary school am Oemberg in Mülheim an der Ruhr. After graduating from Otto-Pankok-Gymnasium, Mülheim, she studied film and television studies , English and economics at the Ruhr University in Bochum . After graduation, she worked as an executive producer. In 2009 she obtained the additional qualification "Script Consultant" from Linda Seger in the USA and has been working as a freelance writer and script consultant ever since. Since 2010 she has been a lecturer for screenplay and production at the Macromedia University and the International Film School Cologne .

Elbrechtz lives in Cologne .
