Maren Schott

Maren Schott (* 11. February 1976 in Dusseldorf ) is a German athlete who at the Universiade in 2003 Daegu in the 400-meter hurdles s won in a personal best of 55.28. At the same event, she won bronze with the 4 x 400 meter relay.

In the indoor season 2004 she started for the German national team in the indoor European cup in the relay. At German championships she was runner-up on the hurdles in 2001, and in 2000 she was third. In 2001 she became German champion with the 4-by-400-meter relay and with the 3-by-800-meter relay. In 2003 she won the championship again with the 3 x 800 meter relay. She won her last championship title to date in 2008 over 4 x 400 meters. At the German Championships 2010 in Braunschweig, she received the bronze medal with the second 4 x 400 meter relay of TSV 04 Leverkusen.

In September 2009 she won the (unofficial) world title in the ultra all-round competition (14 disciplines over 2 days) in Delft, the Netherlands, with 10,380 points (German record).

Maren Schott started at LAV Bayer Uerdingen / Dormagen , moved to ASV Cologne in 1996 and has been working for LG Bayer Leverkusen since 2001 . At a height of 1.73 m, her competition weight is 60 kg.
