Margaretha of Austria (1567-1633)
Archduchess Margaretha of Austria (born January 25, 1567 in Wiener Neustadt , † July 5, 1633 in Madrid ) was a member of the House of Habsburg and a nun in the monastery of Santa Clara de las Descalzas Reales in Madrid.
Margaretha was the fifth daughter of Emperor Maximilian II (1527–1576) of the Holy Roman Empire and his wife and first cousin, Infanta Maria of Spain (1528–1603), eldest daughter of Emperor Charles V and Infanta Isabella von Portugal .
Archduchess Margaretha died on July 5, 1633 in Madrid and was buried in the monastery of Santa Clara de las Descalzas Reales.
