Daryl Mitchell (born July 16, 1965 in Bronx , New York City , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

After a career in hip-hop in the 1980s with Groove B. Chill , Mitchell also had success as an actor. He starred in the films House Party and the sequel House Party 2 , Galaxy Quest - Planless Through Space , 10 Things I Hate About You and in the sitcoms Night Shift with John and Veronica . He has been paralyzed from the waist down since a motorcycle accident in 2001. After his accident, he played in the series Ed - The Bowling Attorney from 2002 to 2004, a bowling alley employee who has been in a wheelchair since an accident.
