reception

Abella Caprile made a successful debut with her anthology of poetry “Nieve”, but is still completely overshadowed by Delmira Agustini . Inspired by their metaphor, Abella Caprile never addresses Agustià's eroticism. It addresses the loneliness of the individual, longing and memory and also partly (similar to Amado Nervo ) a mystically exaggerated religiosity. Later she found her own style and stepped out of the shadow of her role models.
