Margit Bara
Margit Bara (born June 21, 1928 in Cluj , Romania , † October 25, 2016 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian actress . She worked both as a stage and film actress.
Life
Bara grew up in a bilingual family in Cluj, her father worked in a leather factory. Even while attending middle school, she had extra roles at the city's Hungarian theater. From 1945 she worked as an actress at this theater for ten years. During this time she attended the drama academy for a year and met her first husband, the actor Géza Halász. With him she moved to the Hungarian capital Budapest in 1955. There she worked from 1955 to 1957 at the Petőfi Theater ( Petőfi Színház ), from 1957 to 1966 at the National Theater ( Nemzeti Színház ) and from 1966 to 1978 at the Attila József Theater ( József Attila Színház ). After the death of her first husband, she married Dezső Gyarmati in 1964. From 1970 to 1972 she lived with her family in Colombia . In addition to her work at the theater, she worked as an actress in various feature and television films.
