Margot Brink

Margot Brink (* 1967 ) is a German Romanist .

Life

From 1987 to 1994 she studied French and cultural studies at the University of Bremen . From 1994 to 1997 she was a research assistant at the University of Bremen as part of the research project Subjectivity and Modernism by Peter Bürger . From 1994 to 1998 she worked on the dissertation I Write, So I Will. Experience of nothingness and self-creation in the diaries of Marie Bashkirtseff , Marie Lenéru and Catherine Pozzi . After the doctoral colloquium in 1998, she was a lecturer at the University of Bremen in the Romance Studies course from 1998 to 1999 . From 1999 to 2003 she was a research assistant for Romance literature at the University of Bremen. From 2003 to 2007 she had a habilitation grant from the University of Bremen. From 2005 to 2007 she was a lecturer at the University of Osnabrück . After her habilitation in 2011 at the Humboldt University in Berlin with the script: Topoi der EntSagung: Concepts, spellings and spaces of refusal to love and marry in the Romance literature of the early modern period , she was a research assistant at the University of Osnabrück from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016 she was a private lecturer at the Humboldt University in Berlin. From 2013 to 2015 she was a teacher at the Johannes-Brahms-Gymnasium (Pinneberg) and at the district school Helmuth-Hübener (Hamburg). Since 2016 she has been teaching as a professor for French literature and cultural studies at the University of Flensburg .
