Margret Vosseler

Margret Voßeler-Deppe (born March 14, 1957 in Issum ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since 2010 .

education and profession

Margret Voßeler finished school in 1973 with the technical college entrance qualification and in 1975 completed her professional training as a medical-technical assistant . Until 1982 she worked at the St. Bernhard Hospital Kamp-Lintfort . Then she began a family break from 1983 and at the same time an apprenticeship as a housekeeper , with a focus on rural housekeeping, which she successfully completed in 1985. Building on this, Vosseler passed the exam to become a master of rural housekeeping in 1989.

Since the death of her first husband in 2001, Voßeler has been running a pig-fattening farm and arable farm in Issum in the Kleve district . Since 2005 she has been president of the Rhenish Rural Women’s Association and a member of the Presidium of the German Rural Women’s Association .

Margret Voßeler has two children from her first marriage. In October 2019 she married the CDU politician Rainer Deppe .

Political party

In 1998 Voßeler joined the CDU. She was first elected to the Issum City Council in 1999 and has been a member since then. Until 2010 she was the deputy mayor of the municipality.

MP

In the state elections in 2010 , 2012 and 2017 , Margret Voßeler won the direct mandate in constituency 53 (Kleve I) . In the state parliament she was chairman of the committee for family, children and youth. In the 17th electoral term, she is chairman of the integration committee, member of the committee for family, children and youth and member of the committee for environment, agriculture, nature and consumer protection.
