Margrit Staub-Hadorn

Margrit Staub-Hadorn (born March 16, 1941 in Belp ; † October 15, 2007 in Thun ) was a Swiss TV announcer, presenter and author.

Life

Growing up in Belp and Wichtrach , Margrit Hadorn first attended the teachers' seminar in Thun. She then trained as an actress at the Bern Conservatory .

From 1965 she was employed by the Swiss Radio DRS as a presenter and editor in various fields of activity. From 1970 she moderated the daily morning broadcast for a long time and later the rounds . From 1968 she also worked as a TV announcer for Swiss television for ten years . After marrying the Zurich journalist and jazz musician Ueli Staub in 1978, she continued her activities, but switched to the Swiss television program Chumm u lueg , which she hosted until 1991.

After her retirement in March 2004, Staub continued to work as a freelance writer for Swiss radio. In particular, she wrote texts in Bernese dialect such as Gedanke zum nöie Tag and Margrits Surf Trip . Your “Gedankefötzeli” - small radiophonic aphorisms - also appeared in book form. On October 15, 2007, Margrit Staub died of her serious illness in the Thun Regional Hospital.
