Marguerite Roesgen Champion

Marguerite Roesgen-Champion (born January 25, 1894 in Geneva ; † June 30, 1976 there ) was a Swiss composer and harpsichordist.

Roesgen-Champion studied at the Conservatory of her hometown with Ernest Bloch and Émile Jaques-Dalcroze . Since 1926 she lived as a composer in Paris. She composed orchestral works, harpsichord and piano pieces, chamber music and choral works.

She recorded several piano concertos by Mozart and Haydn as well as harpsichord compositions by Jean-Henri d'Anglebert , Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach and others on record.
