Mary's Conception (Volkershausen)
The Roman Catholic Church of the Conception of Mary is the village church of Volkershausen , a district of the market in Maßbach in Lower Franconia . The Church's patronage is the Conception of Mary .
history
The church of Volkershausen emerged from a school building erected between 1864 and 1866. In 1910 a prayer room was dedicated in the building; The first service was celebrated here in the same year. In 1913 a bell tower was built and a bell was installed.
In 1950 the building was converted into a chapel. It got its present appearance as part of a redesign in 1990. The consecration took place the following year by Auxiliary Bishop Helmut Bauer .

The nave with a gable roof visible from the inside has three windows on the western gable wall and a roof turret above . It has four windows on the south side walls. There is also the entrance with a flight of stairs . The five-eighth choir has two windows. All church windows are rectangular. The sacristy is opposite the choir.
Furnishing
A painting of the crucifixion serves as the high altar . In the place of the side altars there are figures of St. John Nepomuk (?) And Our Lady with child.
