The Maria-Rekker-Park is an approx. 2100 m² Beserlpark in the Favoriten district . The park is located between Favoritenstrasse , Maria-Rekker-Gasse, Weldengasse and Katharinengasse. In addition to meadows and old trees, the park has seating and a drinking fountain .

history

Maria-Rekker Park was on 18 January 1996 at the municipal Committee for Culture of the City of Vienna together with the adjacent Maria-Rekker Alley after the ÖVP - District Councilor Maria Rekker named (1902-1991). Maria Rekker was known as the angel of the unemployed in favor of social support for older people .
