Ładza ( German Salzbrunn , also Obersalzbrunn ) is a village in Upper Silesia . Ładza is located in the municipality of Pokój in the Namysłowski powiat in the Polish Opole Voivodeship .

Ładza is located in the north-western part of Upper Silesia. Ładza is located about eight kilometers south of Pokój , about 31 kilometers southeast of the district town of Namysłów and 23 kilometers north of the voivodeship capital Opole .

The village is located in the middle of the Stobrawski Landscape Park . Ładza is located on Droga wojewódzka 454 Voivodeship Road .

history

The village of Salzbrunn was founded as a colony in 1770 as part of the Frederician colonization. Most of the settlers came from Upper Silesia.

In 1845 there were 43 houses in the village. In the same year, 259 people lived in Salzbrunn, nine of them Protestants. In 1874 the Murow district was founded, to which Salzbrunn was incorporated.

In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 271 voters in the rural municipality of Salzbrunn voted to remain with Germany and 220 for Poland. Salzbrunn remained with the German Empire . In 1933 there were 626, in 1939 602 people lived in Salzbrunn. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Opole .

In 1945 the previously German town of Salzbrunn came under Polish administration and was renamed Ładza and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to Powiat Namysłowski .
