Dąbrówka Dolna ( German Eichendorf , until 1930 Royal Dombrowka , 1930–32 Dombrowka ) is a village in Upper Silesia . Dąbrówka Dolna is located in the municipality Pokój in namysłów county in the Polish province of Opole .

Geographical location
Dąbrówka Dolna is located in the north-western part of Upper Silesia. The place is located about three kilometers northwest of the Pokój municipality , about 18 kilometers southeast of the district town Namysłów and 31 kilometers north of the voivodeship capital Opole .
The place is located in the middle of a large forest area that belongs to the Stobrawski Landscape Protection Park. The village is located on the Bogacica ( Ger . Bodländer Flössbach ), a left tributary of the Stober .

history
The place name is derived from the Polish word dabrowa (dt. Oak forest ) or deby (dt. Oaks ).
In 1845 there were a total of 114 houses in the village. In the same year 619 people lived in Königlich Dombrowka, 22 of them Protestant and 14 Jewish. In 1874 the Dombrowka district was founded. The first head of office was the house owner Rösner from Carlsruhe
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 500 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and eight for Poland. Royal Dombrowka remained with the German Empire . In 1930 the name of the village was changed to Dombrowka . In 1932 the name of the village was changed to Eichendorf . In 1933, 1016 people lived in the village. In 1939 Eichendorf had 969 inhabitants. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Opole .
In 1945 the previously German town of Eichendorf came under Polish administration and was renamed Dąbrówka Dolna and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to Powiat Namysłowski .
