Maria Anna Donati
Maria Anna Donati (religious name: Celestina della Madre di Dio 'Cälestina of the Mother of God', FPSGC) (born October 28, 1848 in Marradi , Italy ; † March 18, 1925 in Florence , Italy) was an Italian founder . She was beatified by the Catholic Church in 2008 .
Life
In 1889 she founded the community of Figlie Povere di S. Giuseppe Calasanzio (Poor Sisters of St. José Calasanzio ). They were dedicated to raising the children of prisoners and street children. Maria Anna Donati was beatified on March 30, 2008 in Florence . Her feast day in the liturgy is March 18.
