Maria Fink

Maria Fink (born July 28, 1905 in Hamburg ; † unknown) was a German politician ( SED ), member of the state parliament and district administrator.

Life

Maria Fink attended middle school and then business school. She then worked in various industries as an office clerk and secretary. From 1929 she was a member of the KPD, the Red Aid and the proletarian free thinkers . She became a women's leader in the Berlin-Wedding subdistrict and was then a political instructor until 1933. After the seizure of power in 1933, she was arrested several times and placed under surveillance.

After the end of the Second World War she was involved in the re-establishment of the employment office in Swinoujscie . On September 15, 1945, she was elected First District Secretary of the KPD. She attended the Karl Marx party college from March to June 1946 and then became a political instructor for the SED state executive in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. At the end of 1946 she was elected to the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament. At the beginning of 1947 she became district administrator for the Ueckermünde district .
