Maria Hartmann (* 1955 in Bratislava , Czechoslovakia ) is a German politician of the Family Party of Germany and was the national chairwoman of her party from May 13, 2013 to November 22, 2014.

Life

Maria Hartmann was born in Czechoslovakia. In August 1969 she came to Düsseldorf via Austria . Since the beginning of 2000 she has been working as a commercial clerk with interpreting / translation work for a Düsseldorf forwarding company. She has been married since 1979, has three children and two grandchildren. Hartmann lives in Kaarst .

politics

In 1998 Maria Hartmann became deputy state chairwoman of the North Rhine-Westphalia regional association of the family party. From 2007 to 2013 she was chairwoman in North Rhine-Westphalia and then until 2015 as an assessor in the state board. At the federal party conference on 17./18. November 2012 in Kassel she was elected as 1st Deputy Federal Chairman with 92.7% of the votes cast in the Federal Executive Board. On May 13, 2013, she took over the office of federal chairman of the family party from Erhard Lahni . At the federal party conference on November 23/24, 2013, she was confirmed by the members as federal chairwoman. At the federal party conference on November 22/23, 2014, Roland Körner was able to prevail in the first ballot and took over the office of federal chairman.

In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2005 , she ran as a direct candidate in Rhein-Kreis Neuss III , where she received 1.1% of the first votes. In the 2009 European elections, Hartmann ran for 11th place on the federal list. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010 , she was the top candidate of her party and ran as a direct candidate in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss II . It achieved 0.9% of the first votes there. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , she was again the top candidate of her party. Maria Hartmann ran for second place in the 2014 European elections on the federal list.
