Maria Josefa of Harrach
Countess Maria Josefa von Harrach (born November 20, 1727 in Vienna , † February 15, 1788 in Roudnice nad Labem ) was Princess of Liechtenstein .
biography
She was born in Vienna as the daughter of Count Friedrich August von Harrach zu Rohrau and Thannhausen , Chancellor of Bohemia, and his wife Eleonora Katharina von Liechtenstein . On March 19, 1744 she married the ruling Prince of Liechtenstein Johann Nepomuk Karl . Her husband only died at the age of 24, just four years after the marriage, and the couple had no children.
In her second marriage on November 28, 1752, she married Prince Joseph Maria von Lobkowicz (January 8, 1724 - March 5, 1802), Field Marshal in the Imperial Austrian Army, who succeeded his older brother on August 20, 1760 after the death of his older brother Prince Lobkowicz took office.
Maria Josefa died on February 15, 1788 in the ancestral palace of the royal family in Roudnice nad Labem (German: Raudnitz an der Elbe) and was buried there in the Capuchin monastery. Her grave is no longer preserved.
