life and work

She made her debut in 2007 with the volume Der Weggedanke , which already uses a neologism in its title, which the author explained as follows: "A Weggedanke says that you think certain things out of yourself and get rid of them." The reviews praised her "masterly handling" with the word and saw parallels with Charles Baudelaire . Her older colleague Jürgen Rooste emphasized that one can see from the poetry that someone here didn't jump out of bed in the morning and feel like writing poetry, but that Maria Lee's “texts are more the result of something being experienced, a distance has been traveled. "your careful handling of the word can also be found in the fact that they only one has submitted additional collection of poems and published only sporadically new poems in magazines.
