Maria Solana da Conceição Soares Fernandes

Maria Solana da Conceição Soares Fernandes (born October 2, 1966 in Dili , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician and lawyer from East Timor . She is a member of FRETILIN and its women's organization, the Organização Popular de Mulheres Timorense (OPMT).

Fernandes was in the 2001 elections, voted # 32 of the FRETILIN list in the Constituent Assembly from which with the dismissal into independence on May 20, 2002, the National Parliament of East Timor was. At the meeting Fernandes became a member of the committee for systematisation and harmonization. In the parliamentary elections in East Timor 2007 Fernandes did not run again.

On November 26, 2014 Fernandes was appointed judge after successfully completing her training. She then worked at the Dili District Court . In 2018 Fernandes was a member of the Conselho Superior da Magistratura Judicial .
