Marianne Burkert-Eulitz (born June 11, 1972 in Berlin-Lichtenberg ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and lawyer . Since September 2011 she has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives for the constituency of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg 2 .

education and profession

Burkert-Eulitz graduated from the Andreas-Gymnasium in Berlin-Friedrichshain in 1991 . She then studied law, education, history and politics at the Humboldt University in Berlin . Burkert-Eulitz has been a lawyer since 2006 with a focus on child, youth and family law as well as legal counsel for children in court. Burkert-Eulitz is a member of the Association of Berlin Legal Aid Fund for Youth Welfare .

politics

From 2001 to 2011 Burkert-Eulitz was a member of the district council of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district and represented Alliance 90 / The Greens in the youth welfare committee and the social and health committee. 2006–2011 she was head of the district assembly.

In September 2011, Burkert-Eulitz achieved in the Berlin state election, 2011 for the first time moving into the Berlin House of Representatives . She won the direct mandate in the constituency of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg 6 with 28.8% of the vote . In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2016 , she was able to defend her direct mandate in the newly tailored Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg 2 constituency with 33.4% of the votes. In the parliamentary group of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, she is the spokesperson for family and education. Burkert-Eulitz is also a member of the Presidium of the House of Representatives.

Burkert-Eulitz was born in Berlin-Lichtenberg in 1972 . She is married and has two kids.
