Individual works

  • The green, Madame thematizes a timeless bachelorette situation in three stations: the gardens, the dreams, the travels. Tristram, the gardener & hyacinth of the dyers and dancers, conjure up the feminine they lack: Blancheflor becomes an imagined woman who disappears when the imagination of the men no longer evokes her. But Hyacinth breaks with Tristram's imperious narcissism & Blancheflor is tired of its instrumentalization & disappears from the male dream world. (Radio play NDR / DLR Berlin 1998, realization: Ulrike Brinkmann, composition: Peter Michael Hamel)
  • The hour in Venice / afternoon focuses on the marriage between the famous English art critic, private scholar and supporter of the Pre-Raphaelites, John Ruskin (1819–1900) and his wife Effie. The radio play is a fictional dialogue between the very young Effie Ruskin in 1851 and the seriously ill and deathly marked Austrian officer Paulizza in Venice, who had the Serenissima, besieged by the Austrians, bombed in 1848. (Radio play, NDR / ORF 2005, director: Renate Pittroff)
  • Portrait of an Infanta From the shadow of the Alhambren, the secret patios, surrounded by their maids, their dwarfs and dogs, trapped in the iron corset of courtly life and religious orthodoxy, the very young Infanta Margarita Teresa appears in the famous painting Las Meninas ("The Maid of Honor") ) by the court painter Diego Velázquez . And the question arises: what has changed in the game of the sexes since then? What has stayed the same? (Radio play, ORF 2007, director: Renate Pittroff)
  • La machine La machine is a poetic essay about the eros of the machine world / woman and its disappearance (essay, awarded the Lise-Meitner Prize of the TU Vienna 1995, in: Female Science Faction , Promedia-Verlag 2001).
  • Oranges and choir grids The theme is a journey back to childhood in the 50s-70s, a boat trip on the Danube. The loneliness of childhood comes up as well as the zany about love.
