Marie-Hélène Breillat (born June 21, 1947 in Talence , Aquitaine ) is a French writer , actress and painter .

Marie-Hélène, the older sister of the director Catherine Breillat , was married to the French director and screenwriter Édouard Molinaro , with whom she worked in numerous films. She became known for her title role in the 1978 multi-part television adaptation of Colette's "Claudine" novels .

Due to a serious illness, she has not made a film since 1982.
