Marie Friederike Charlotte of Württemberg
Princess Marie Friederike Charlotte von Württemberg (born October 30, 1816 in Stuttgart ; † January 4, 1887 there ) was the first daughter of King Wilhelm I of Württemberg with Queen Katharina Pavlovna .

After the death of his first wife in 1837, Countess Josefina Grisoni, Count Alfred Franz Camill Karl August von Neipperg married Princess Marie of Württemberg, the daughter of King Wilhelm I, on March 19, 1840, whereupon he transferred to the Württemberg military and became major general there .
Marienpflege Ellwangen
On December 20, 1830, "His Majesty the King had the grace that the institution was given the name Höchstdero the eldest princess, Royal Highness, and could therefore be called 'Marien-Pflege' Ellwangen ".
Princess Marie was 14 years old at the time. Throughout her life, especially in the second half of her life, she has shown herself to be a great patron of the Ellwang Marian Foster. Her legacy of 40,000 marks formed the basis for the main building built in 1907/1908.

Princess Marie of Württemberg was buried next to her parents in a marble coffin in the funerary chapel on the Württemberg in 1887 .
