Marie Johansson (born June 30, 1963 in Furudal ) is a former Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Johansson, who started for the IFK Mora and the Dala-Järna IK , took 18th place over 5 km, seventh place over 20 km and sixth place with the relay and over 5 km at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1982 . In the World Cup she also came under the top ten three times and reached tenth place in the overall standings at the end of the 1981/82 season. In the 1984/85 season she came with the relay in Falun and in Lahti each on the second place. Her best placement of the season in the World Cup singles was seventh place over 20 km in Oslo. In the same season she was Swedish champion with the season of IFK Mora. The following year she won the Swedish championships over 5 km and over 10 km. In the 1986/87 season, which she finished in 17th place in the overall World Cup, she achieved in Val di Sole with second place over 5 km classic, her only podium finish in the individual World Cup. At the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary , she came in 21st place over 5 km classic. The following year she won the Tjejvasan . She is married to the former cross-country skier Gunde Svan . Her daughter Julia is also a cross-country skier.
