Marie Quanter
Marie Quanter ( November 14, 1840 in Kassel - 1918 ) was a German child actress and stage actress .
Life
Quanter, the daughter of the actor Karl Quanter , entered the stage of the Dresden court theater at the age of five and played there (1846–1852) with luck alongside Franziska Berg , Marie Bayer , Eduard and Emil Devrient , Friedrich Wilhelm Porth , Eduard Winger and her father .
After a break, she was hired on March 1, 1857 as a promising talent for young lovers, but despite all efforts could not achieve an outstanding position. Nevertheless, she stayed at the Hofbühne until her retirement on March 1, 1897, after forty years on the stage.
