Marieke Sanders-Ten Holte

Maria Johanna "Marieke" Sanders-Ten Holte (born November 7, 1941 in Assen ) is a Dutch politician ( VVD ).

The daughter of a lawyer studied English in Groningen and was then a teacher and principal at a school in Haarlem . She sat in the Provincial Council of Noord-Holland and from 1999 to 2004 in the European Parliament . Since April 15, 2004 she has been Honorary Consul of Botswana in the Netherlands.

Sanders-Ten Holte has two children and lives in Aerdenhout , Bloemendaal municipality . She is a knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau .
