The Roman Catholic Marienkapelle is located in Kolben , a district of Wiggensbach in the Oberallgäu district ( Bavaria ). The chapel , which according to the inscription on the altar was built in 1657, is a listed building. Renovations took place in 1881, also according to the inscription on the altar, and in 1956. The building is a rectangular frame construction with two rectangular windows, which is boarded up.

The altar consists of a marbled aedicula with two columns from 1657. Below an angel's head there is a rural wooden figure of Our Lady from the time the altar was built. The crucifixion group with Mary and John was created around 1800 . The two chandelier angels date from the 17th century. The other wooden figures depict St. Rochus - belonging to the Virgin Mary , an Immaculate in rural Rococo , and St. John of Nepomuk from the end of the 18th century. The Way of the Cross with 15 stations is marked with 1735 .
